There is no connection to authorise, so there is nothing to revoke later.
Nothing is detected, guessed, or imported. RenewalNote does not read your email, your bank, or your app store receipts, which is why it never needs access to any of them.

RenewalNote follows whatever your phone is set to, and you can override it. Drag the divider to see the same list in both.
This website has a light and dark switch of its own, in the top bar. It opens dark, remembers your choice on this device, and that preference never leaves it.
The reminder is scheduled on your phone when you save the item. It does not come from a server, which means it does not need an account and cannot be read by anyone.
Whether a reminder actually arrives depends on your phone: notification permission, battery settings, and how the operating system treats background apps. That is true of every app that schedules notifications, and we would rather say it here than imply a guarantee we cannot make.
Two things RenewalNote could have left vague and did not. Both are written into the app, on the screens where they matter.
Restoring from a file replaces your current list, and saves the current one as a backup first, so it can be undone. The full list of what we never touch
Annual renewals are the ones that catch people out, because they arrive eleven months after the decision to buy. Insights puts them on a calendar and in a list, so a month with three of them in it is something you saw coming.
Totals divide an annual plan across twelve months, so the monthly figure is an average rather than a bill. Everything here is built from what you entered.
Today sits at the centre. Each renewal is drawn at how far away it actually is, and the bar beyond the outer ring is what it will charge. Nothing here was detected or guessed at.

Most of this page is about what RenewalNote does. This part is about what it does not do yet, what it will never do, and what we have not worked out. All three are easier to say now than after launch.
This list used to be longer. Storage is settled now that backups ship, and this site uses no analytics at all, so neither is an open question any more. What is left is genuinely undecided.

No. There is no bank integration in the app, in any form. RenewalNote only knows what you type into it. That is the main reason the app exists.
