RenewalNote is an independently developed mobile product focused on simpler renewal awareness.
RenewalNote is a mobile app for keeping track of the subscriptions, free trials, and annual renewals you already pay for. You enter them yourself, choose when you want to be reminded, and the app tells you before a renewal date arrives. That is the entire scope, and we intend to keep it that way.
Renewal dates are genuinely easy to lose track of. A free trial you meant to cancel, an annual plan agreed to eleven months ago, a membership that quietly moved to full price. None of these announce themselves. The tools that solve this well usually do it by connecting to your bank and reading your transactions. That works, and for plenty of people it is a fair trade. It just should not be the only option available.
RenewalNote takes the other route: you tell it what to watch, and it watches only that. Less automatic, and considerably less invasive.
Most days you should open the app, see that nothing needs attention, and close it. There are no streaks, no badges pushing you back in, and no invented tasks to make the app look busier than it is.
Beta testers are asked specific questions about particular screens, not for general impressions. What we are looking for is the moment something was confusing, the step that took too long, and the reminder that arrived at the wrong time. Those answers decide what gets fixed before launch and what gets cut instead of fixed.
Honest status: RenewalNote is pre-launch and in active development. There is no app to download yet, no launch date announced, and no user numbers to report. When there is something to try, waitlist members hear about it first.
Privacy before convenience
Where the two conflict, privacy wins, even when it makes the product do less.
Honest claims
No guaranteed savings, no invented numbers, no promises about delivery we cannot keep.
You stay in control
Nothing enters your list unless you put it there, and you can remove any of it.
Simple on purpose
A tool you open for eight seconds and close again beats one you have to maintain.
Questions about the product, the privacy approach, or the beta program are all welcome. Messages go through the contact form and a real person reads them.
