This policy applies to the RenewalNote website and the pre-launch waitlist. RenewalNote is an independently developed mobile product that is not yet publicly available. When the app launches, this policy will be extended to cover it, and the changes will be described before you are asked to enter any data.
Right now, we collect only the following:
RenewalNote has no bank integration. There is nothing to authorise and nothing to revoke, because the connection does not exist.
Waitlist email addresses are used for one purpose: to tell you when RenewalNote is available to try, and to reply if you asked about the beta program. Contact form submissions are used to reply to you. We do not add either to a marketing list.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or unnamed partners. Data is stored with our hosting and database providers purely so the service can function, and they act on our instructions.
Waitlist entries are kept until launch, or until you ask us to remove yours. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle the conversation. If RenewalNote does not launch, waitlist data will be deleted rather than retained or transferred.
You can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form to complete and no retention period to wait out. Send the request through the contact form, choosing “Data deletion request” as the reason.
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why you have not been shown a cookie banner. If we add analytics, it will be a cookieless, privacy-respecting tool that counts page views without building a profile of individual visitors, and this section will be updated to name it.
We use the security controls provided by our hosting and database providers, including access controls that restrict what the website can read and write. We are deliberately not claiming a specific encryption standard or security certification, because we hold none and would rather say so than imply otherwise.
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will remove it.
If this policy changes materially before launch, we will update the date at the top and describe what changed. Waitlist members will be told by email rather than left to notice a quiet edit.
